The Essence of Pure Awareness

I am White Tara. My essence is pure awareness. I reveal truth and illusion. I build white marble stairs to the heavens for the seeker when the body of passion and desire has been left behind.

I am the angel with white wings that brings the soul to the heavens.

I am white diamond light for Buddhists - the caring and compassionate mother of the Mahayana tradition.

I am also the white Daena, the Zoroastrian savioress, and the goddess of the nectar of immortality.

I do not specialize in dealing with desire. That is Red Tara's realm.

While Green Tara helps with accomplishment and overcoming difficulty, Golden Tara brings peace to the troubled soul. And Blue Tara heals hatred and isolation, the extremes of purity. There is also a Black Tara who liberates souls from bondage. She will enter the hell worlds to free her devotees from demons. She will dive into impure realms to rescue the soul who has been unjustly imprisoned.

We are all liberators from the chains of ignorance and desire.

For the person of sattva guna (with a pure disposition), I am a shining sun of guidance and compassion. For the rajasic person (of passionate nature), I am the white warrioress protecting the person from internal and external threats. For the tamasic person (with a less conscious or slow-witted nature), I am the lady of mystery who walks dark pathways.

I take the form most suitable to the seeker.

I leave a train of gems in my wake - pearls, peridots, sapphires, and emeralds. I lead the person through the many worlds of the divine universe and all things eventually return to the dark ocean of the void.

I do not rush any sentient beings to return to the Source. Life and awareness are meaningful, not to be thrown away in the mad seeking of original darkness for those who seek the ultimate Void.

I walk the path of infinite light. I reveal the clear light, the brilliant surface on the dark ocean. Like a moebius strip, the Void and the clear light meet together.

For those who wish to return to earthly life, we walk the razor's edge and do not seek to dissolve into the depths. For them, I bring joy and knowledge of a shining eternity.
